She came originally from Spain and is around 7 years old.

Maya had been a stray in the north-east of England for some weeks before she came into our care.  She had a severely broken leg and hip, which was inoperable, and so our vets amputated that leg.  She is doing great now, and has blossomed into a wonderful cat. She is looking for a home as an indoor cat.

She is a lovely girl and loves attention and ear scratches. She does live amongst other cats but much prefers her own space so she would do better as an only cat. She certainly has plenty of sass and character, and we all love her here!

Although she has three legs, she gets around the place just fine! It certainly doesn’t hinder her at all!
