Help us to help Ivor

Ivor is a sweet-natured boy who came to us from another rescue in late April.  He had an injured leg and a very bad upper respiratory infection.  In order to properly examine Ivor under anaesthetic, we needed to help him breathe first, so after swabs were taken, he was put on an antibiotic course, then later x-rayed.  His leg was not broken, but he had severe damage to his cruciate ligaments.

Due to ongoing respiratory issues, Ivor’s first surgery had to be postponed, but he has finally been able to have the operation.  He is recovering well and is still in need of further post-op examinations, but we are hopeful that his leg will cause him no further pain.

We are asking for help towards the cost of Ivor’s veterinary fees.  On the day of his leg operation, his fee for just that one day came to £1,634.57, and he has had further treatment since then.
