Maisie needs a scan
Published: 19 May 2020
5-year-old Maisie spent her early years in Cyprus. Unfortunately, she was hit by a car there, which damaged her bladder, leaving her with persistent urinary incontinence.
She has been here now for two years, and is a super-loving little cat, who would have been rehomed many times if it was not for her incontinence problems.
This year she has had repeated urinary infections, treated with antibiotics, but with blood still in her urine, our vet has strongly recommended an abdominal scan to find out just what is happening. We are hoping the answers we get will mean we can make life easier for this sweet girl.
The estimate from our vet is £352 and we are asking your help to help us pay for this.
You can donate at https://www.farplace.org.uk/how-to-help/donation-welcome-page/
You can donate by texting NEUTER to 70300 to give £10; LOVE to give £5; STAFFIE to give £3; or LICK to give £1. Add the words NO INFO after your text and we will not send you any further texts after the initial automatic Thank You.
Alternatively, if you prefer to give directly to our vet, please message us for details. Many thanks.
Any money donated over and above what we need for Maisie’s scan will help towards our vet bill, so will directly benefit our other animals in our care.
