Volunteers Always Needed
We do not need volunteers at the rescue centre, as we need a consistent level of trained staff to deal with all animal care roles regardless of the weather. We do need volunteer help in the following areas to support our work. Click on each link below.
Shop Volunteering
All our charity shops need volunteers to help with the following tasks.
Sorting donated stock, Steaming clothes, Organising books, Pricing donated stock, Helping with van collections and deliveries as driver’s mate and Leafleting door to door for the shop.
Event Volunteering
We always need help at our various events. We organise vegan festivals around the UK and, with our sister charity, in France. We also have more regular vegan fairs.
Farplace Ambassador
We need people to become Farplace Ambassadors and do any of the following…
- Promote our activities by sharing on social media
- Mention Farplace to your friends
- Placing and emptying collection boxes for us, counting and banking the income
