We dropped him off today after a relatively short stay with us, and he couldn’t have been more ready to start his next chapter.

Misty was trapped in Consett after some wonderful local ladies reached out to us for help and kindly set up a trap for him. Thankfully, he was caught very quickly and we were able to bring him safely back to the rescue.

The following day, he visited the vets where it was sadly determined that, due to old injuries that had healed incorrectly and could never be properly repaired, he would need to have his leg amputated.

Fortunately, one of those same lovely ladies had already fallen for him and offered him a forever home of his very own. Once he had been neutered, recovered from his surgery, and received his vaccinations, he was finally given the all clear to begin his new adventure.
