Just this side of midnight, I heard the tinkle-bells
He tiptoed round the kitchen – I could sniff those reindeer smells
He smiled as he noticed I was watching from my bed
And instead of walking past my pen, he tickled me instead.
My little sister Pepsi, (wide eyed and full of glee)
Woke from her dreamtime slumbers amazed what she could see
He made us promise not to wake the other kittens here
Then left this basket full of gifts and wished us all “good cheer”
Then Father Christmas disappeared – just where I cannot tell
But he left behind these lovely gifts, and a pongy reindeer smell
Good Christmastime to everyone. We hope you like your day
Now please excuse the two of us – we have some games to play.
