Hello, my name is Tango, and I’m just a little cat
My mummy told me Santa Claws is coming with his sack
That’s packed up tight with goodies, for Kittens who’ve been Good
Providing they’ve been learning how to CAT the way they should.
I’ve practiced all the Purring, and I’ve washed my dainty toes
I’ve smartened every whisker, and I’ve polished up my nose
I’m learning all my lessons, and I never criticise
When mum eats all the cat treats (which she found a great surprise)
So, I’m hoping that dear Santa, when he comes this way to call
Leaves a Magic Little Something on the worktop in the hall
And he’s written on the package “For Tango” (that’s my name)
And I hope that all the other kitties here get the same.
