This little girl is Brandy. She is a very timid cat who has recently been quite poorly – losing weight and with diarrhoea. At a recent veterinary appointment, our vet felt a mass in her abdomen, and so we took her to the veterinary hospital for a scan and other tests to find out what the problem is

The scan revealed a problem with her colon, which is diseased and also shorter than normal, meaning she will have regular bouts of diarrhoea all her life. The lump felt by our vet is on a lymph node, and could be any one of several things, so samples are being sent off to discover more.

We are asking for help with her veterinary fees, which for today only has come to £1,189. It is probable that she will continue to be in need of veterinary care, but while ever she has a good quality of life, we will do everything in our power to help her to live her best life.
