Volunteering with Farplace Animal Rescue
Farplace Animal Rescue relies strongly on donations of time and money, so thank you for taking the time to consider volunteering with us.
We are currently trying to expand our network of volunteers to help us with occasional practical work at the sanctuary and to take part in various fundraising activities, such as supermarket bag-packs, collections, stalls, sponsored events and so on.
If you can offer any amount of time to volunteer for us or have a particular skill you would like to offer, please get in touch using the form below. Occasionally, teams of volunteers will be called to help with hands-on work at the sanctuary, such as building work, painting, conservation work in our woodland, dog walking, and bits of animal care. We usually ask that volunteers be available for a full day or at least half a day for this and transport arrangements can often be coordinated.
In the winter months opportunities at the sanctuary are limited due to freezing weather and poor accessibility, so these months are usually taken up by fundraising events.
In return for your efforts we can provide valuable experience and references for future employers. And as with all volunteering, it gives you the chance to do something different and a chance to make a difference.
